The $24 million Edmonton Funicular, officially called the 100 Street Funicular and Frederick G. Todd Lookout, opened last week in downtown Edmonton.

Kebony cladding, known for its weather-resistant performance characteristics, was chosen for the unique paneled façade, which will develop a patina over time to match the surrounding rocks and arctic nature.
